Australian pay TV broadcaster Foxtel has agreed an exclusive output distribution deal with Sky Vision, the distribution and production arm of European satcaster Sky.

The partnership will see Sky Vision represent Foxtel’s slate of originals globally, as the broadcaster continues to ramp up its development and commissioning in drama, lifestyle and factual programming.

While Foxtel will continue to manager distribution in Australia and New Zealand, Sky Vision will add the shows to its international catalogue.

Early titles included in the deal include Donna Hay: Basics to Brilliance, a lifestyle series fronted by the magazine editor and best-selling author that originally aired on Foxtel’s Lifestyle Food Channel.

Further shows will follow, including a project being worked on with Aussie Pickers star Lawrie Voitier and another from Maggie Beer’s food series.
