Sky signals It’s Christmas with CC-Lab

Comedian Jason Manford will front the festive special

European satcaster Sky has commissioned a festive one-off from live events and entertainment specialists CC-Lab, called It’s Christmas Live.

Hosted by comedian Jason Manford, the 90-minute special will be filmed at Royal Albert Hall in London and will include performances of contemporary Christmas classics from artists including Marc Almond, Melanie C, Nadine Coyle, Shakin’ Stevens and The Vamps.

The show was commissioned by head of entertainment Phil Edgar-Jones, and Sky entertainment and arts commissioning editor Barbara Lee. It will air on Sky1 and represents CC-Lab’s first ever commission from the channel.
