Sky Living takes three from US

Blindspot is heading to the UK

European satcaster Sky has picked up US dramas Blindspot, Limitless and The Catch for its Sky Living channel in the UK.

Blindspot, from Warner Bros Television and Berlanti Productions, recorded the highest-rating premiere on NBC since fellow Sky Living series The Blacklist.

The series begins with heroine Jane Doe crawling out of a bag in New York’s Times Square naked, covered in tattoos and with no memory of how she got there.

The Catch, from ABC Studios and Shonda Rhimes, focuses on a fraud investigator who becomes a victim herself at the hands of her fiancé.

Limitless, from CBS Television Studios, is based on the 2011 film of the same name and focuses on a musician who is recruited by the FBI after discovering a mysterious drug that boosts his brain power.

The acquisitions add to the channel’s growing slate of US drama with Scandal, Elementary, The Blacklist, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds and Bones all returning with new seasons this autumn.
