Sky captures CBS’s Seal, Instinct

SEAL Team stars David Boreanaz

European satcaster Sky has picked up the first-window rights to two CBS Studios International dramas for its channels in the UK.

Seal Team will air on Sky1 and midseason series Instinct will play on Sky Living. Both shows are produced by CBS Television Studios and distributed internationally by CBS Studios International.

Seal Team stars David Boreanaz as unit officer Jason Hayes, a respected leader of the Tier One team whose home life has suffered as a result of his extensive duties.

Instinct, meanwhile, is based on the James Patterson and Howard Roughan book Murder Games and follows a former CIA operative who is lured back to his old life when the NYPD needs his help to stop a serial killer.

The pick-ups continue the partnership between CBS and Sky already established with shows such as Hawaii Five-0, NCIS: Los Angeles, Elementary and Blue Bloods.

Seal Team and Instinct will air on Sky in 2018.
