Shudder scares in UK, Ireland

AMC Networks-backed horror streaming service Shudder has launched in the UK and Ireland.

The service, curated by Colin Geddes and Sam Zimmerman, has debuted with more than 200 titles, the majority of which are not available on any other major streaming service, the company claims.

Launch titles include Mattie Do’s Dearest Sister, which recently screened at the BFI London Film Festival.

Shudder costs £4.99 (US$ 6.10) a month or £49.99 for a yearly membership.
