Shomi gets exclusive SVoD rights to the series, with the first eight episodes of Outlander set to be available from February 13.

Other shows including Marry Me, Helix, Drop Dead Diva and Justified will all be available later in the year, along with Bonnie & Clyde, starring Emile Hirsch, and Hatfields & McCoys.

Shomi has also picked up SPT movies including The Amazing Spider-Man, Eat Pray Love, 21 Jump Street, Moneyball and The Social Network.

Shomi, a joint venture between Shaw Media and Rogers Media, agreed a deal for The Blacklist last year and has also picked up shows from CBS Studios International and struck an alliance with US giant Netflix for new survivalist thriller Between.
