Shine’s Sanz returns to Boomerang

Spain’s Boomerang TV Group has revamped its entertainment division with the appointment of a Shine Iberia exec to oversee formats and a promotion for one of its exec producers.

Eva Sanz joins as coordinator of content and will exec produce and direct for the prodco. She was most recently a director for Shine Iberia working on MasterChef and MasterChef Junior.

Sanz previously worked for Boomerang in 2002 before moving to Shine Iberia, and leaves following the recent merger deal with Endemol and Core Media.

Meanwhile, Susana Pérez has been appointed deputy general director at the prodco’s entertainment arm, which is headed by Encarna Pardo and is producing local versions of The Voice and The Voice Kids, as well as Here in Madrid and Top Chef.

Pérez joined Boomerang in 2008 as a creator of new TV formats, and in 2010 was promoted to exec producer of entertainment, overseeing formats such as The Voice and The Voice Kids. She began her career at Antena 3 Television, where she worked for 18 years across its entertainment division.
