Shine International signs 44 Blue

Shine International has inked a first-look deal with the production company behind A&E’s new reality series Wahlburgers and Style Networks’ show Split Ends.

The agreement with 44 Blue will see Shine represent the US prodco’s shows and format rights for all its future TV output.

The Californian-based firm is known for its long-running reality franchise the Lockup on MSNBC, as well as Pit Bulls & Parolees on Animal Planet.

Rasha Drachkovitch, 44 Blue president, said Shine’s commitment to working with independent producers would be a “great fit” for the firm.

Shine International currently distributes over 3,700 hours of TV content each year on behalf of both Shine Group and a variety of third party producers.
