Seven hears Criminal Confessions

MIPCOM: Australia’s Seven Network has picked up true crime series Criminal Confessions as part of its first-look deal with distributor ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVSGE).

ITVSGE has picked up global rights to the series (11×60’ and 1×120’), which was originally produced by Wolf Reality and Warner Bros-owned Shed Media for Oxygen Media in the US.

Criminal Confessions was created by Dick Wolf (Law & Order) and explores the psychology of police interrogations and what it takes to yield a confession from a suspect.

Ronan Hand, senior VP of global content, non-scripted at ITVSGE, said that with Shed Media and Wolf Reality joining forces, he was confident they would deliver a series that would be “best in class” and ideal to bring to the international market.
