Séries Mania moves to March for 2019

French drama event Séries Mania will return to Lille in March 2019, after the formerly Paris-held market moved there this year.

The festival will be held from March 22 to 30, with the European Forum of Projects & Talents set to take place between March 25 and 27.

This year’s event took place towards the end of April and the beginning of May. However, another major cultural event, Lille3000, is due to take place in the city in April 2019, meaning Séries Mania decided to bring its dates forward for 2019, explained Laurence Herszberg, founder of Séries Mania.

Séries Mania said the decision to change the dates for 2019 was taken jointly with Lille City Hall and the Hauts-de-France Region.

The event’s move from Paris to Lille came after the French government’s decision to back a new drama event in the latter city last year.
