Scripps Networks Interactive has become the latest international broadcaster to launch channels in the Middle East and North Africa with local player BeIn Media.
Scripps will launch HGTV in the region for the first time, while Travel Channel is also joining the BeIn line-up.
Travel will debut on August 1 airing series including House Hunters International and Destination Unknown, while HGTV will make its bow on November 2 with a line-up of real-estate, DIY and design programming.
BeIn launched a portfolio of entertainment channels in the region in November last year. Earlier this week AMC Networks International announced it was rolling out five channels on the platform.
Scripps’ portfolio of channels – which includes HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, DIY Network and Great American Country – have now rolled out to 175 territories around the world.
