Scripps Networks Interactive has appointed an experienced executive from A+E Networks to oversee the distribution of its factual and lifestyle channels in EMEA.
Kasia Jablonska has been appointing VP of affiliate sales for EMEA. She will be based in London and will report to senior VP of commercial for UK and EMEA Ross Hair.
The new role will see Jablonska manage distribution of a channels portfolio that includes Food Network, Travel Channel and Fine Living across the region. HGTV is already set to launch in EMEA for the first time in November.
Prior to joining Scripps, Jablonska was director of distribution for A+E Networks UK, working in the UK, CEE, Benelux, Africa and the Middle East. While there, she was involved in the launch of Lifetime in Africa and H2 in Europe and the Middle East.
She has previously held similar commercial and affiliate sales roles at NBCUniversal, Fox International Channels, National Geographic and Wizja TV in Poland.
