Some people would kill to live in the splendid Alpine foothills. Some actually do. And it’s not just because of the real estate. This is where police inspectors Hubert & Staller come in: boyish, rational, orderly Hubert; awkward, impulsive, quick-tempered Staller. What they both share besides a dislike of violence and an unshakable friendship is a shrewdness that snaps in whenever someone isn’t telling the truth. Hard evidence?
