LAST CHANCE FOR LOVE is a dramatic and intimate docu-reality show that follows couples on the brink of divorce as they get one last chance to save their marriage. With the help of an experienced marriage counselor the couple goes through 3 distinct stages that help them understand one another, sacrifice for one another and communicate with one another. At the end of the emotional journey, they must make the fateful decision of whether to end their marriage, or stay together. Last Chance for Love is a moving reality format which takes us on a touching journey from challenges and hardships to love and transformation.

Each episode focuses on a different couple as they go through 3 important stages of growth and self-discovery, with the help of a trained marriage counselor. Unlike coaching shows where the coach is present in the house throughout the given tasks and watching behind the scenes at all times, this format is truer to the real life experience of 'marriage counseling'. The couple sees the marriage counselor for 4 clinical sessions throughout the episode. After each clinical session the couple must independently perform the tasks given to them and apply what they've learned to their daily life. The final result is an emotional 'documentary-like' journey of a couple dealing with their at times painful, at times deeply loving, marital life.

LAST CHANCE FOR LOVE feels 'real' and 'raw' despite its highly structured format. The show was developed together with an experienced marriage counselor in order to create a journey that is both dramatic enough for television, but also true to the real life experience of 'relationship counseling'.

Despite its authentic feel, each episode is constructed according to a strict reality format structure. While the audience may feel like they are watching a couple's journey over a number of weeks – each episode is shot in one intensive week, over the course of 5 days.
