Swerving the studio

Hell on Wheels entered its fourth season on AMC in August and Mount says shooting outside of a studio has increased the creativity and realism of the show. He also discusses how moving towards a fully scripted model could benefit the show and other TV dramas being produced.

“With the TV landscape changing, more people are going to start going in fully scripted. A little more investment at the top end will save a lot of money on the backend.

“I want to know my beginning, middle and end as an actor. It would help me to make more informed choices at the beginning as an actor and I believe it could result in a better product if we start fully scripting.”
