Working closely together with producer Fabrik Entertainment, Connelly developed a pilot version of Bosch via Amazon Studios, and got the greenlight for a full season in March.
“Amazon is out on the front edge of how society is changing in terms of how people watch TV, when they watch it and what they watch it on, and that intrigues me,” says Connelly. “There was something about working with Amazon, which has no schedule – they can do as many shows or as few shows as they want – that worked out for what we wanted to do."
