World Media Rights' unusual production model has led to it picking up a series order from Military Channel in the US and it is now focusing on developing a download-to-own business and moving into formats, says CEO Alan Griffiths.
"We're going to do big experiments with selling download-to-own, and the way we promote it. The thing that holds it back is that the bandwidth isn't quite broad enough. We're surfing the technology as it catches up," he says.
"We're interested in applying our model to new generic areas. You'll see us going more into formats, but in things we think will work in a lot of territories."
