TALKING SHOP: Peter Straughan, the writer behind the BBC’s Wolf Hall, tells C21 how he set about distilling Hilary Mantel's Tudor novels – his first TV adaptation – and why he finds the medium increasingly appealing.
Straughan, whose prior credits include movie versions of How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, The Men Who Stare At Goats and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, reveals that his next TV project may well be an HBO/Playtone drama based on Philip Kerr's Berlin Noir novels set in Nazi Germany.
