TALKING SHOP: Netflix's chief content officer Ted Sarandos says that the US video-on-demand firm's recently announced plans to launch in the Nordics later this year are part of a worldwide expansion bid.

"There's no reason to hyper-concentrate on what's next, because that was just the rhythm of the release. Eventually our plan is that we will be a global company," says Sarandos.

In this episode, the executive also talks about Netflix's original content strategy, saying that the firm is committed to high-quality drama and has no plans to move into factual or other types of content.
