TALKING SHOP: Courtney White, VP of programming and development at Scripps Networks Interactive, talks to C21 about her content needs for HGTV and DIY and plans for the ongoing revamp of Great American Country.
Great American Country is being transformed from a country music channel to a country lifestyle network and White says she is looking for "lifestyle content that has an Americana backdrop.”
"We'll be pulling from other Scripps networks to feed that library in large part, but we're also looking for loud buzzworthy concepts to supplement that,” she says.
