Celia Taylor, head of factual commissioning at UK satcaster Sky, talks to C21 about her programming strategy and desire for her four channels to own the 'funny factual' genre.
Sky has become known for its light-hearted factual programming such as An Idiot Abroad and Pineapple Dance Studios, as well as harder-hitting presenter-led programming such as Ross Kemp on Gangs, and Taylor is keen for more of both to be pitched to her.
There's a particular need for new content at 20.00 and Taylor outlines what she's looking for there, as well as for a feature doc strand on Sky Atlantic.
