THE C21 INTERVIEW: Adam F Goldberg, writer and exec producer of ABC's fall sitcom The Goldbergs, reveals how the 1980s show is based on old VHS recordings of his own family.
The single-cam show, from Sony Pictures TV, went to ABC after "a bidding war," says Community alumnus Goldberg, and will benefit from Marvel's Agents of SHIELD as its lead-in on Tuesday nights. Happy Madison Productions is behind the show.
