Biernat wants TV to answer questions

TALKING SHOP: With the same old formats continuing to dominate schedules, CEO of Grundy Light Entertainment and FRAPA chairman Ute Biernat tells C21 that younger viewers are being turned off by repeated formats, why she's always asking questions and how Google inspired her latest knowledge-based format.

Biernat says: "We need to double check what television is these days and who is watching. Our audiences are much older than advertisers want them to be and this is the fault of the shows. We repeat successful formats, so it can be a case of ‘Been there, done that.’”
