Imagine you are a bear. Strong, wild, confident. As a bear, you are a loner, an original, a character. Unless you are a mother, your life is solitary. One of the few places where grizzly bears still roam free is the National Parks of Alaska. Here, the bruin walks in the secure knowledge that the most dangerous creature in his world is himself. As a bear, there is nothing to fear except hunger, disease – and other bears. Food, safety, sex and fear are the driving forces - not much different from our human wants and desires. We follow the grizzlies in Denali National Park and Katmai Coast. As we see the world from a bear’s point of view we realize that life as bear revolves around similar essentials as our own: necessities and emotions.
