“One of the main problems is that most of the money is with our big, rich public broadcasters and they cater to a very old audience – 60 and up. And if you look at the programmes they really reflect that,” says Raiser.
He tells C21TV about the work Dreamtool is doing to change this, developing a drama series for youth-skewing ZDFneo and setting up a US-style writers’ room – an unusual model in Germany. “Change is coming,” he says.
