LA-based Sonar, which coproduced recent BBC/FX Hardy-fronted series Taboo, has first-look deals with Clooney’s Smokehouse Pictures and Downey’s Team Downey as it focuses on the convergence of theatrical film and TV fiction.
It also counts AMC drama The Son and MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles among its credits, plus David E Kelley’s upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s Mr Mercedes for AT&T’s Audience network.
