Liza Marshall left her role as head of the London arm of Ridley Scott’s Scott Free in August and has resurfaced as joint MD of the fledgling Archery Pictures, also in London, alongside Thykier.

Marshall joined Scott Free in 2009 having spent five years as head of drama at C4, during which time she commissioned and exec produced projects including the Red Riding trilogy and The Devil’s Whore.

Marshall’s other television projects have included BBC2’s Britain in a Day; Labyrinth, based on Kate Mosse’s best-selling novel; and the forthcoming Taboo, starring Tom Hardy, for BBC1.

Thykier, whose films have grossed over US$325m at the worldwide box office, will shut down his company PeaPie Films and move his staff and slate across to the new entity.

Other key executives at Archery Pictures will include Pip Williams, senior development and production executive, and Mairi Bett, head of physical production.
