Science okays Ferguson series

Discovery’s Science Channel in the US has greenlit a one-hour series exec produced by CBS latenight star Craig Ferguson to air in late 2014.

I F-ing Love Science is inspired by the Facebook phenomenon, I Fucking Love Science, created by British biology student Elise Andrew, which boasts more than 10 million ‘likes’.

The show – from Green Mountain West Productions and Karga7 Productions – will feature a mix of live-action, animation and recreations which show how science connects us.

Rebecca Tucker of Green Mountain West Productions and Sarah Wetherbee of Karga7 Pictures will exec produce alongside Ferguson, who is known for hosting The Late, Late Show on CBS.

For Science Channel, Debbie Adler Myers and Rocky Collins are exec producers and Bernadette McDaid is VP of production. Andrew is on board as consulting producer.

I F-ing Love Science will debut on Science Channel in the fourth quarter of 2014.
