Samsung TV Plus gains Insight pact

MIPCOM: Samsung Electronics and Insight TV have announced a partnership that will deliver 4K ultra-high definition (UHD) content to Samsung TV Plus viewers in Europe.

Samsung Smart TV users will be able to access up to 500 hours’ worth of Insight’s original UHD content, featuring sports, entertainment and lifestyle programming.

The content will be available free of charge to Samsung TV Plus users in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK from early 2018.

Samsung TV Plus has been available to Samsung Smart TV users in those territories since this June.

Earlier this week, Insight announced its catalogue of content would be made available on Amazon Channels.
