Russia examines Armoza’s Package

Russian broadcaster 360TV has commissioned a local version of Armoza Formats’ factual series The Package.

The Russian version of the Israeli show will be titled Posilka and will premiere in September. The 23-episode run will be hosted by actress Yana Poplavskaya.

The show reveals around a package that is passed from one person to another forming a chain of givers and receivers who are all connected in some way stretching across an entire country. As it makes its journey, friendships are renewed, secrets are revealed and stories are told.

In Greece the format has aired as Pame Paketo since 2005, and commercial broadcaster Alpha TV recently greenlit a 30-episode 10th season for October, after achieving a 30% audience share with the ninth series during Thursday primetime.

A local version also airs on SBT in Brazil while MTG Africa is working on the show for Ghana and Tanzania as its first local format adaptation in those territories.

ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland announced it will produce and air the German version of the series in April.
