RTL CBS takes Corden to Asia

RTL CBS Entertainment will bring UK actor James Corden’s US chat show to viewers in Asia, airing highlights from the series so far as well as current episodes.

The Late Late Show with James Corden will begin airing weeknights on RTL CBS Entertainment HD from August 3, with the second season set to premiere on September 10.

Corden was a surprise choice to succeed Scottish comedian Craig Ferguson as host of the late-night chat show and made his debut on March 23.

Celebrities to have appeared on the show to date include Tom Hanks, Mila Kunis, Mariah Carey, David Beckham, Will Ferrell and One Direction.

The series is produced by CBS Productions and executive produced by Ben Winston and Rob Crabbe.

RTL CBS Asia Entertainment is a joint-venture HD channel from Germany’s RTL Group and CBS Studios International.

It recently launched in Hong Kong, where it is available on satellite and IPTV platform Now TV tomorrow under a carriage deal with its owner, PCCW.
