Romper, Striking Out boost DCD scripted slate

Roadshow Rough Diamond’s thriller Romper Stomper was produced for streamer Stan

The second season of legal drama Striking Out and thriller Romper Stomper have been added to UK distributor DCD Rights’ scripted slate for Mipcom.

From Australian prodco Roadshow Rough Diamond in association with Screen Australia and Film Victoria, Romper Stomper (6×60′) is a crime drama and political thriller told from multiple points of view.

It is an original production for Australian streaming service Stan and has already been acquired by SundanceTV Global for multiple territories including Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Dutch-speaking Benelux, Latin America, MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa.

DCD has also licensed rights to the second season of Irish drama Striking Out (6×60’), a Bl!nder Films production for RTÉ with financing from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland and Acorn Media Enterprises.

SundanceTV Global has acquired the rights to the show for multiple territories and Finnish pubcaster YLE has also picked it up.
