The company is used by the likes of Hasbro and DreamWorks Classics to secure distribution on platforms such as iTunes and Google Play, while it also repackages online content for linear TV and VoD services.

Former Disney Channels Worldwide and KidsCo chief Robinson joins MoMedia to advise the company on their kids’ entertainment strategy.

He will focus on kids TV acquisitions and the packaging strategy for its growing roster of digital-only kids’ brands, such as preschool animated property TuTiTu.

Robinson told C21 here in Cannes that the company has a “huge opportunity” to help traditional media companies monetise their content online.

Sebastien Janin, meanwhile, is an international manager with over 20 years’ experience in the movie and TV industries. He currently advises MoMedia on their content acquisition strategy.

While at Apple he was the tech company’s international head of independent film, responsible for the international roll out of iTunes Films. He also had a short stint at Spanish VoD service Wuaki TV earlier this year.

Other members of the company’s advisory board include former Sky executive Holly Knill and former NBCUniversal CFO and Arts Alliance exec Howard Kiedaisch.

Meanwhile, MoMedia has added Anita O’Donnell, the former director of client services at US digital distribution facility Visual Data Media Service, as chief operating officer.

CEO Lucas Bertrand founded the company in 2005 after leaving Australian TV production/distribution business World Wide Entertainment.
