Six new series lead Nick line-up US children's network Nickelodeon has unveiled its 2010/11 programming line-up, led by six new series. Among the new shows are House of Anubis (working title), a live-action series coproduced with Belgium-based Studio100. Originally produced for Nickelodeon in the Netherlands, the new version follows eight children who try to solve mysteries at an English boarding school and is set to transmit in the fall. Lime Pictures produces in the UK. Victorious, coproduced by Nick and Sony Pictures Television, incorporates live-action, dance and singing, and follows a girl, played by Victoria Justice (Zoey 101), who finds herself at an elite dance school. The show debuts on March 27 and is executive produced by Dan Schneider. Kung Fu Panda: The Series represents Nick's second collaboration with DreamWorks Animation, and is based on 2008's Kung Fu Panda film. It is executive produced by Cheryl Holliday (King of the Hill). Planet Sheen, produced by O Entertainment, tells the story of an attention span-challenged kid who crash-lands on a strange planet. It is executive produced by Steve Oedekerk, Keith Alcorn (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius) and Jim Hope (George Lopez). T.U.F.F. Puppy is an in-house production, created and executive produced by Butch Hartman, that follows a gung-ho, dim-witted dog who is recruited by a group of secret crime fighters to protect his hometown against an evil animal organisation. Bubble Guppies is an animated preschool variety show set in a 3D, CGI underwater classroom. Created by Robert Scull and Jonny Belt (The Backyardigans), each episode takes topics such as swaying kelp forests and coral reefs and looks at them from a variety of angles. In addition to the new shows, announced at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, Nick is also giving new seasons to live-action shows iCarly, True Jackson, VP, BrainSurge and Nick News. Big Time Rush is also returning for a second season. From Nick's animation slate, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Penguins of Madagascar, The Fairly OddParents, Glenn Martin DDS, and Fanboy and Chum Chum all return, along with preschool shows Team Umizoomi, Go, Diego, Go!, The Wonder Pets and The Backyardigans. Dora the Explorer, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, gets four primetime specials and an original documentary produced by Brett Morgen (The Kid Stays in the Picture).
