Vision TV books Elvis act doc Canada's Vision TV has greenlit local production company Summerhill Entertainment to make a three-part documentary about an Elvis tribute act. Channeling Elvis (3x60') follows Ron Moore and his wife as they sell their house, pack up their belongings and embark on a tour that takes them to Graceland, meeting a variety of people who knew The King along the way. The cast includes Presley's high school sweetheart, his stepbrother, personal jeweller and plastic surgeon. The film is being made to coincide with the 75th anniversary of his birth. Summerhill Entertainment will be launching the doc at MipTV next month and is looking for pre-sales in the US and worldwide. 12 Mar 2010 © C21 Media 2010 |
