CBBC calls for more Horrible Histories UK children's network CBBC has ordered a second season of its live-action sketch show Horrible Histories. CBBC controller Anne Gilchrist has ordered a second 13x30' season of Lion Television's factual entertainment show, which is based on the books by Terry Deary and looks at gruesome events and ghastly characters from worldwide history. The first series debuted this spring on BBC1's CBBC kids block, pulling in a 13.3% audience share of six- to 12-year-olds.
