Joost lines up ITN deal MIPCOM: UK news broadcaster ITN is on the verge of a partnership with Joost, and is working on a new movie-themed programme especially for the start-up internet TV service. The latest step in ITN's new media strategy is expected to be announced this week, as Joost representatives arrive in Cannes to drum up further content deals for the peer-to-peer platform. ITN will supply an array of news bulletins to Joost plus Movie Buff, a show made specifically for the service, plus other tailored programming in other areas such as sports. ITN already distributes its content via other online businesses, such as Google Video and the Blinkx video search engine.
