US genealogy show spreads roots
Australia's Nine Network and New Zealand's Prime are among eight broadcasters that have acquired the US version of Shed Media genealogy show Who Do You Think You Are? Rogers Broadcasting in Canada, DR in Denmark, MTV3 in Finland, SVT in Sweden, RTE in Ireland and DBS in Israel have also picked up the show, which debuted on NBC last Friday. The US version of the format stars Lisa Kudrow, Susan Sarandon, Sarah Jessica Parker, Spike Lee, Brooke Shields, Emmett Smith and Matthew Broderick.
