Electric Sky lands twins doc
UK indie Electric Sky has landed distribution rights to Trishna & Krishna: Separate Lives, a documentary about cojoined twins, who were today successfully separated.
 The two-year-olds (left) became a global news phenomenon when they were abandoned shortly after birth at an orphanage in Bangladesh.
The children, who were considered cursed by their natural parents, were saved and taken to Australia by an aid worker. For the last two years, surgeons have been battling to save the girls' lives.
WTFN Entertainment has had exclusive access to the twins during this time, and has been filming their journey for an hour-long documentary to air on Seven Network Australia. Electric Sky has now secured global rights to the film, excluding Australia.
Doctors yesterday began surgery to separate the twins, and after more than 25 hours, reports indicate the twins have been successfully separated.
