Rennie joins SW Live line-up

The MD of UK music TV business Box Television has confirmed his participation in C21’s Schedule Watch Live conference next week.

Matt Rennie, who was appointed to the post last September, is responsible for the entire Box TV portfolio, comprising seven music channels: 4Music, The Box, Kiss, Kerrang!, Magic, Heat and Smash Hits.

He previously worked at Global Radio where he was enterprise director, overseeing non-core revenue, new ventures and customer data strategy.

He joins Louise Holmes, VP of programming at Comedy Central UK, and Steve North, general manager at UKTV’s Dave and Gold, in the UK Multi-channel Analysis session at Schedule Watch Live, held at Bafta in London on Friday February 21.

The one-day programming event, based on C21’s premium content strand Schedule Watch, will feature in-depth sessions based on specific genres and regions, such as factual, children’s TV, Northern European channels and UK multi-channels.

The sessions will reveal the programming requirements and coproduction opportunities for major channels in 2014 and beyond.
