Red Arrow melts Snowman in Norway

Germany’s Red Arrow Entertainment is to close the Norwegian branch of Snowman Productions and centralise its Scandinavian production in Denmark.

Snowman Norway MD Jørgen Steinheim and head of production Dag Obert Eine will leave the company in 2018.

Snowman Denmark, which produces entertainment and social experiment formats, has been part of Red Arrow since 2011.

The Copenhagen-based company is led by CEO Michael von Würden, chief creative officer Rasmus Steentoft and executive director Lars Fønss, all of whom have recently agreed to multi-year extensions of their Red Arrow contracts.

Current Snowman Norway productions, including Married at First Sight for Discovery Norway, will continue to be produced by Snowman Norway in collaboration with Snowman Denmark this year, with Snowman Denmark working on the shows with local partners from 2018.
