Red Arrow boosts Baker for int’l

Germany’s Red Arrow Entertainment has revamped the role of one of its key UK execs as it attempts to focus on global IP acquisition and English-language programming.

James Baker becomes MD of Red Arrow UK & global scripted strategy and will lead the firm’s international scripted development and production strategy. He joins the board and will continue to manage Red Arrow’s UK operations.

Henrik Pabst also joins the company’s board and will continue to serve as MD for Red Arrow International.

The rejig comes as Red Arrow seeks to further expand its scripted output, which includes Bosch for Amazon, Sky’s 100 Code, The Comedians for FX, Odd Mom Out for Bravo and Esio Trot for the BBC.

Jan Frouman, CEO of Red Arrow Entertainment Group, described expanding Baker’s role as “a key step to building upon all of the scripted production and partnership momentum we have generated in the US, UK and beyond.”

Red Arrow operates 13 TV production companies spanning seven countries, as well as the multi-channel network Collective Digital Studio in LA and global distributor Red Arrow International.
