Studio Ramsay will focus on creating new formats and programming, including a scripted division that makes projects with food-related themes. Ramsay will wholly own the independent company.

Layla Smith, CEO of the All3Media-owned Objective Media Group, will work with Studio Ramsay in the UK, while All3Media America CEO Greg Lipstone will do the same from the US side.

“We really look forward to continuing our relationship with Gordon, working alongside him as he establishes and grows his new production company,” said All3Media CEO Jane Turton. “He is a world-class talent with a phenomenal record of hit TV series.”

wild_thingsRamsay has been working with All3Media since 2010. That year, the firm bought UK unscripted prodco Optomen, which has a joint venture in place with Ramsay known as One Potato Two Potato. That firm is co-owned by Ramsay and Optomen.

Ramsay is behind UK series Hell’s Kitchen, which launched on ITV in 2004 before being adapted in the US for Fox, with both fronted by the chef. He is also known for his Kitchen Nightmares series, which again had UK and US versions.
