Presto pushes eOne dramas

Australian subscription VoD (SVoD) service Presto has bulked up its offering after agreeing a package deal with Entertainment One (eOne) Television.

Hell on Wheels: four seasons taken

Presto TV subscribers will now have access to undercover crime drama Rogue; The Firm, based on the John Grisham novel; and supernatural werewolf thriller Bitten.

Other shows included are the first four seasons of railroad epic Hell on Wheels, cop show Rookie Blue and family drama The Slap. Presto has already taken exclusive SVoD rights to The Walking Dead from eOne.

The deal comes after the Foxtel and Seven West Media joint venture, which launched in January, said it would increase its libraries following its acquisition of NBC drama Aquarius as an Aussie exclusive.

The Presto services are locked in a fierce battle for customers against Netflix and the Nine Entertainment/Fairfax Media co-owned Stan.
