Portfolio serves 4K culinary duo

Canadian production and distribution company Portfolio Entertainment has added two culinary series shot in 4K to its slate ahead of next month’s MipTV market.

Café Maria (30×30′) is produced by Rangrez Media features celebrity chef Maria Goretti as she creates a range of eclectic culinary dishes.

Sailing Chef (30×30′), also from Rangrez, is hosted by Vicky Ratnani and explores the cook’s culinary-based adventures while travelling on a cruise ship.

Portfolio has secured worldwide rights to both shows outside of Asia.

“Portfolio has long maintained a strong foothold in the cooking genre and we stay on top of the latest trends in food TV,” said Jonathan Abraham, director of international sales and acquisitions at Portfolio.

“With Sailing Chef and Café Maria, we know viewers are going to fall hand over fork for Chefs Vicky and Maria, who are true food connoisseurs with personality and charm to spare.”
