Portfolio food shows for US, Mid East

Broadcasters Ion Media in the US and Fatafeat in the Middle East have picked up lifestyle content from Canadian producer and distributor Portfolio Entertainment.

Ion has taken the 26-episode first season of Chef at Home and the first two 13-episode seasons of Chef at Large.

The two series feature internationally renowned chef Michael Smith and currently air in more than 100 territories worldwide, including on Food Network in Canada. It has also been picked up by Ananey in Israel and other broadcasters.

Fatafeat, a free-to-air channel owned by Discovery, has taken the first 26 episodes of Everyday Exotic.

The series follows chef and musician Roger Mooking as he looks to bring a twist to classic meals. The show airs on Food Network in Canada and The Cooking Channel in the US and was previously sold to The Living Channel in New Zealand and Discovery Asia.
