Political prodco launched in DC

A fledgling US production company is developing a slate of fictional series inspired by lesser-known political events that have shaped today’s world.

Washington DC-based Naim Media Group (NMG) has been set up to specialise in dramas based on real events and claims to have “privileged access” to “unique intelligence” related to current and historical events.

The company, led by CEO Andres Naim, also has a division focusing on documentaries and current-affairs formats.

“We blend our insider access to incredible and factual stories with the unique talent of our writers and producers to intertwine these true events with fictional narratives that humanise them and make the stories more alluring and accessible to global audiences,” Naim said.

Naim, a former analyst with Barclays Bank, was previously director of finance and operations at reset TV.

Further details about NMG’s original series will be announced in the coming months.
