In this inspiring factual entertainment format, each week a new celebrity will surprise a class of high school students as he disrupts their usual studies with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. What the students believe is set to be just an ordinary day turns into a lesson they will always remember when the celebrity becomes their substitute teacher, giving them a master class that reflects his passion and experiences.

The Launch debuts a new and unique format, documenting an authentic, behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to break a new artist and bring a song to life. In each episode, unsigned emerging artists audition for the opportunity to learn, record and perform a new original song, mentored by a panel of internationally renowned music industry legends.

After a gruelling recording session, each artist then has to perform the song live and the mentors choose which version of the song will be immediately released on all platforms, ultimately deciding in that moment whose career will soar!
