Pick commissions Woodcut’s Killers

Pick, the free-to-air channel operated by Sky in the UK, has ordered third seasons of two true crime series documenting some of Britain and the world’s most notorious killers.

Britain’s Most Evil Killers (10×60’) and its international counterpart World’s Most Evil Killers (10×60’) are produced by factual indie Woodcut Media.

They were ordered for Pick by acquisitions manager Sophie Judge and both series will be distributed internationally by Keshet International (KI), the global distribution and production arm of Israel’s Keshet Media Group.

Britain’s Most Evil Killers and World’s Most Evil Killers look at the real-life stories of killers from Ted Bundy to Aileen Wuornos and Robert Black to Gary Ridgway. Each episode focuses on one killer and features first-hand accounts from the detectives, journalists, relatives and survivors involved in their cases.

The shows will air on Pick in 2019 and KI will present them both at MipTV next month.

Woodcut signed a first-look distribution and development deal with KI in 2016, which was extended in January.
