PBS stocks wildlife

MIPTV: The distribution arm of US pubcaster PBS has added 38 hours of natural history programming to its catalogue ahead of MipTV here in Cannes.

Wonders of Nature

PBS International has picked up the blue-chip natural history programming from the library at specialist wildlife producer Nature Conservation Films World Wide.

Titles available include Wild Tanzania which looks at the flora and fauna of the African country, Babies of the Plains which looks at how mothers care for their young in different species, and Saving Paradise Islands which looks at the work of Jane Goodall and other dedicated conservationists.

Other documentaries in this library include Dark Side of Crocs, a one-hour documentary that follows the lives of Nile crocodiles, and Wonders of Nature, a six-part celebration of the most striking creatures in the animal kingdom and their survival strategies.
